The Atlanta Falcons will release linebacker Brian Banks, ending his unlikely run from being an innocent man in prison to becoming an NFL player.

Howevr, Jay Glazer of FoxSports reports that the Falcons want to give Banks some sort of career opportunity associated with the franchise.

It is a nice gesture on the part of the Falcons, and it shows something about Banks that the team would consider such an option.

The dream didn't have the fairy tale ending that everyone had hoped for, but is still looks to be working out OK regardless for Banks.
