The Atlanta Falcons are hanging on to a former first-round draft pick of theirs.
The Falcons have re-signed defensive tackle Peria Jerry, the organization's 24th overall pick in the 2009 NFL draft. Jerry has been with the Falcons since and has been a regular in the lineup.
In five seasons, Jerry, 29, has recorded 67 tackles and 5.5 sacks. He played college football at the University of Mississippi.
