From Sean Jensen of The St. Paul Pioneer Press:
APYou can bet No. 4 Vikings jerseys will be a hot ticket
Any report of a mass-produced, league-approved Brett Favre Minnesota Vikings jersey is premature, an NFL spokesman said Thursday.
"We wait until there is a player contract that has been approved; then we begin mass producing them," league spokesman Brian McCarthy said. "But nothing has transpired from here."
First, a signed Favre contract with the Vikings would have to be delivered to the league and players union.
Then, the league and union would have to approve any mass-produced official NFL jersey by Reebok.
It is believed that Reebok already has prepared screens of a Favre Vikings jersey, just as it would for the teams in the Super Bowl.
That way, as soon as the league approves a contract, Reebok immediately can begin filling orders.
Maybe donning the FUGLY purple color isn't really the same as betraying
the fans (like me) who supported & defended you for 16 years.
Maybe it's just a way to come back and wave to us again!
(No not with just one finger #4...)
Yeah, this is just his way of thanking us.
We'll never forget you Brent!

Looks like it'll be yet another winning season for the NFL's Iron Man and all time record holding QB! Or maybe even 2 or 3!
Yeah, "winning is the only thing" have to make sure no young buck qb ever gets close to Most Passes Intercepted, lifetime/playoffs" or the other record "Most playoff games in which you coulddn't seal the deal" or "Most interceptions to wipe out your chance to appear in another Super Bowl"
BRENT IS THE CLASSIEST OF CLASSY! I seriously wonder if he is "Theismaned" at here at home in lambeau f people would cheer or be sorry, from the view I get around town here, they would welcome it and could care less. i guess he dug his own grave?
Just produce "No. 4" jerseys for 49ers (2010), Seahawks (2011), BC Lions of the CFL (2012), AARP (2013) while they're at it.
I wonder if Jets fans are keeping all of the Fave jerseys bought last year as mementos or will they all pop up on ebay?
As for my Packer Favre Jersey, as soon as he puts on the purple, it becomes a rag for my dog to play with
We'll never forget you BRENT.
Sincerely,
"PACKER" fans everywhere
GBP 4 LIFE
Wow! I guess there are quite a few bitter Packer fans here. Don't blame Brett (Brent real nice) blame Ted Thompson. When Brett decided he still wanted to play ball all Thompson had to do is say, "Sure, but it is going to be an open competition." Thompson didn't do that. I wonder why. Was he unsure that his boy Aaron would win the battle? So because the Packers have moved on, Brett just has to take it and go home? You separate from your wife of sixteen years and then call her up and say "Honey, I want you back. Give me one more chance, please." She responds, "Sorry, I have moved on and met someone new." What are yo supposed to do? Take a vow of celibacy? Uh-uh...you go find a new lady. It happens. If Brett could not play, I guarantee there would not be all this vitriol from you guys. What are you really afraid of? Think Favre is going to roll into Lambeau and give the Packers an L? I certainly hope so. You guys have no class wishing an injury on the man.
