Quarterback thanks fans, doesn’t announce 2010 intentions. Joe Fortenbaugh
With the last game of the NFL season in the books, we can all officially turn our full attention to Favre Watch 2010.
The first piece of information: Shockingly inconclusive.
Recently, the Minnesota quarterback posted a message on his official website thanking all of his fans for a "memorable season.”
Favre closes the message by saying, “Regardless of what the future holds, I want everyone to know that I will cherish the memories of the past year for the rest of my life."
At this point, most are of the opinion the 40-year-old will be back in 2010. Favre posted the best quarterback rating (107.2) of his 19-year career in 2009 as he finished the regular season with 33 touchdown passes and just seven interceptions while throwing for 4,202 yards.
The good news at this point is that we all have at least five more months of the infamous “Favre Watch.”
Settle back and enjoy.
