Former Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers running back Felix Jones remains hopeful that an NFL team will call him soon.
He's a free agent.
After averaging 8.9 yards per carry as a Cowboys first-round pick in 2008, Jones' career has gone adrift.
"I know something is going to happen, I have a gut feeling," Jones told the Tulsa World. "I just have to stay prepared for it."
Jones has battled injuries since starting at Arkansas.
He's still relatively young at 27 years old.
"I played the game for a few years," Jones said "I kinda got the hang for what's going on in the NFL at my position. I know I can teach younger guys. Obviously I still got some gas in my motor."
