Baltimore hoping to get deal done with quarterback. Terry McCormick
The Baltimore Ravens will meet with the agent for quarterback Joe Flacco at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis next week in hopes of starting talks on a contract extension, says NFL.com.
The Ravens are expected to meet with Flacco's agent Joe Linta in hopes of laying the ground work on a new deal. Flacco's rookie deal is scheduled to expire after the 2012 season.
Since being Baltimore's first-round pick in 2008, the Ravens have made the playoffs every year. Flacco started as a rookie for the Ravens under center.
