Florida State star cornerback/return man Greg Reid was arrested by the Georgia State Patrol on Tuesday night and charged with driving with a suspended license and possession of marijuana, according to WCTV in Tallahassee.

The senior was taken to the Lowndes County Jail and has since been released on bond.

The 5-8, 186-pound Georgia native, who was arrested on perjury charges (which were later dropped) and suspended from a game last year, recorded 27 tackles and two interceptions in 2011. He also racked up 563 return yards and a score. In 2010 he notched 14 pass breakups, 54 tackles, a punt return score and accounted for six turnovers.

Reid is a starter and the Seminoles' second-best cover corner. Depending on how this plays out he could be suspended for the season opener against Savannah State. FSU then plays Murray State the following week, so the 'Noles should be okay without Reid if he misses one or two games.
