Oakland Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie said that newly acquired quarterback Matt Flynn is the starter as off-season program begins, per Vic Tafur of the San Francisco Chroncle.

That's no big surprise as Flynn was expected to have the early edge after being acquired in a trade from the Seattle Seahawks. McKenzie did, however, say that all the quarterbacks would compete for the job, meaning that if former supplemental pick Terrelle Pryor impresses he has a chance to win the job.

Still, that sounds like a long shot, unless Flynn gets unlucky for a second straight year. He was ticketed to be the starter for the Seahawks last year after signing as a free agent, but was beat out in training camp by rookie Russell Wilson.
