Former Cowboys RB Robert Newhouse dies from heart disease

Retired former Dallas Cowboys fullback Robert Newhouse died from heart disease.

Newhouse had suffered a stroke in 2010.

Newhouse was 64.

Newhouse played for the Cowboys from 1972 to 1983.

Newhouse threw a touchdown pass to Golden Richards on a halfback option in  Super Bowl win over the Denver Broncos.

Newhouse rushed for a career-high 930 yards and two touchdowns in 1975. He finished his career with 4,784 yards and 31 touchdowns.
