Former Houston Oilers/Tennessee Titans running back Rodney Thomas died at the age of 41, according to a report from The Bryce-College Station Eagle.
Thomas played college football at Texas A&M, where he was a standout running back that totaled 3,064 yards and 41 touchdowns from 1991-1994. A reason for Thomas' death is pending autopsy.
Thomas was drafted by the Oilers in the third round of the 1995 draft. He was with the organziation before and after the move to Tennessee.
