Texans running back has pain in knee area. Terry McCormick
Houston Texans running back Arian Foster says he will play Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, according to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle.
Foster did not practice on Friday because of what he described as pain in his "knee area," but not necessarily his knee. Foster left Thursday's practice early because of swelling in the knee. If Foster cannot go, Ben Tate would replace him in the lineup.
Also, linebacker Brooks Reed, who left Thursday's practice with a hip injury, also sat out Friday's practice. If Reed is out, rookie Whitney Mercilus would play for him.
