A couple of times in training camp, the Houston Texans thought running back Arian Foster was ready to come back and begin practicing.

But Foster remains out with a sore back and still is not ready to practice and play in preseason games, Coach Gary Kubiak tells John McClain of the Houston Chronicle.

Foster has been taking injections in his back, and that the soreness is now in his legs. McClain surmises that Foster won't play at all in the preseason.

There was some good news for the Texans as receiver DeVier Posey, who is coming off Achilles surgery in February, has been taken off PUP and should begin practicing.
