Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson will miss two to three weeks with a torn medial collateral ligament, Coach Chan Gailey announced Monday.
That means Jackson's season could be over with the Bills alive in the playoff chase only by the slimmest of mathematical possibilities at 5-8.
The loss of Jackson means that C.J. Spiller will handle the bulk of the carries over the final weeks for the Bills, according to Gailey.
