Josh Freeman was late and not a part of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' annual team photo shoot, the Tampa Tribune reports.

It raised eyebrows last week when the starting quarterback was not voted as one of the team's captains, something this is generally done for a QB, unless he is a rookie.

When asked to comment on not being in the team picture, Freeman sent a text to the newspaper's reporter saying, "You know I can’t do Buc non-sanctioned interviews.’’

Freeman, who struggled at the end of last season, is in the final year of his rookie contract, and thus far the Bucs have shown little to no inclination of extending his deal.
