The Oakland Raiders announced Tuesday that they have agreed to a deal with fullback Owen Schmitt.
Schmitt spent the past two seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles. Before that, he was with the Seattle Seahawks.
Primarily a blocker, Schmitt has been a decent option out of the backfield as a pass receiver during his four-year NFL career. He has nine rushing attempts for 27 yards and 34 receptions for 218 yards with two touchdowns in his career. He scaught a career-high 19 passes for 136 yards and one touchdown in 2010 for Philadelphia.
