Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert was carted off the practice field with an ankle injury, per Gene Frenette of the Florida Times-Union.

Gabbert, who is in a battle with Chad Henne to be the Jaguars starting quarterback, has been a disappointment in his first two seasons with the Jaguars after being the 10th overall choice in the 2011 draft.

Gabbert apparently got tangled up with an offensive lineman, and the injury occurred right in front of Jaguars coach Gus Bradley.
