Stop me if you've heard this before, but Blaine Gabbert is out with an injury.
The Jacksonville Jaguars starting quarterback is "week to week," according to Coach Gus Bradley after injuring his hamstring Sunday against the St. Louis Rams. It marked the fifth time in past calendar year that Gabbert has not been able to finish due to an injury, per the Florida Times-Union.
The Jaguars, who are 28-point underdogs against Denver this week, will start Chad Henne over Gabbert on Sunday. It's probably just as well, considering Gabbert is 5-22 in his career as a starting quarterback.
The worse news, of course, for Henne and Gabbert, once he comes back, is that left tackle Luke Joeckel, the second overall pick is out for the season, and the team traded its previous left tackle Eugene Monroe to Baltimore last week in order to shift the rookie to his natural left tackle spot.
