Blaine Gabbert reverted back to his rookie form in Sunday's 27-7 loss to the Houston Texans, maybe even worse.
Gabbert was just 7 of 19 for 53 yards with one touchdown before exiting with what is believed to be a hamstring injury, says the Florida Times-Union.
Gabbert's injury opened the door for Chad Henne to mop up in the game, and the former Miami Dolphin was 2 for 2 for 23 yards.
It is a tough situation the Jaguars find themselves in. Like the Titans and Browns, they are married to a young quarterback and will have to live with the growing pains (and the 0-2 starts), even though a more experienced signal-caller sits in the No. 2 role. Making any sort of switch if Gabbert's struggles continue could potentially stunt his long-term growth as a quarterback.
