From ESPNChicago.com:
LAKE FOREST, Ill -- Chicago Bears general manager Jerry Angelo said new defensive end Gaines Adams will be active Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.
If Adams is expecting to shoulder a heavy workload versus Cincinnati, he wasn't dropping any hints Thursday at Halas Hall.
"Not sure, just take it one day at a time right now and go from there," Adams said. "I know I'm not going to come in and just jump out there and play 30 snaps. Still coming in, got to learn the playbook and learn how they do things."
Angelo stated his desire to see Adams join the rotation at right defensive end, which could mean less playing time for Mark Anderson.
Adams was acquired last week for a second-round draft pick from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
