Cornerback says on Twitter he is returning to Pittsburgh. Terry McCormick
William Gay, released by the Arizona Cardinals last week, looks to be returning to the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and Gay's Twitter account.
Gay was asked on Twitter by former teammate Ryan Mundy if he was coming back to the Steelers, to which Gay answered "Yea" and added that he was glad he didn't sell his condo in Pittsburgh.
Gay signed with the Cardinals as a free agent last year, but was let go as a salary cap cut. He was originally a fifth-round pick of the Steelers in 2007.
