New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith denied that he was kicked off a flight at the Los Angeles airport.

Smith allegedly got into an argument and police were summoned and TMZ Sports posted a photo of him talking with police officers.

However, Smith told TMZ that the allegations aren't true, saying: "Don't believe that, man."

Several reports out of New York, including Newsday, stated that Smith wasn't arrested and no incident report was taken since there was no arrest.

According to the New York Daily News, the incident was sparked by a flight attendant ripping off Smith's headphones. Smith was heading to Fort Lauderdale before leaving the flight on his own, according to the report.

Sergeant Belinda Mettles with Los Angeles World Airports told the Daily News, "I can’t confirm any names or anything because there were no arrests made. But we did respond to a call and the subject involved was questioned and released. We responded to an incident, when we arrived, the person was already off the aircraft."

"We are aware of the report and are researching the facts," a Jets spokesperson told the Daily News. "We will have no comment at this time.”
