Cornerback Jayron Hosley became the second member of the New York Giants' secondary to be suspended this week.
Two days after the Giants cut suspended safety Will Hill, who's out for six games for violating the NFL substance-abuse policy, Hosley was suspended for four games for violating the NFL drug policy.
Drafted in the third round in 2012, Hosley is eligible to participate in offseason practices, training camp and preseason games.
Hosley had been appealing his suspension, but has now dropped the appeal.
Hosley isn't expected to be released.
He has seven career starts and one interception.
