The New York Giants hired Craig Johnson to be the team's new running backs coach, the organization announced on Wednesday.
Though Johnson was previously the quarterbacks coach in Minnesota the past three years, he did coach running backs from 2009-2010 during a long stint with the Tennessee Titans.
“I’m really excited about the opportunity to join such a great franchise,” Johnson said in a statement released by the organization. “I’ve always admired coach Coughlin during the many years I’ve coached against him. I’ll come here to do my part to help the Giants get to and win a Super Bowl.”
