New York will be shorthanded at Carolina Brad Biggs
The New York Giants played on a Wednesday to open the regular season giving them a solid week-and-a-half to prepare for their second game.
Now that they’re on a short week playing Thursday night at Carolina, things aren’t as comfortable for them.
The Giants ruled wide receiver Hakeem Nicks out for the game, according to Judy Battista of the New York Times. His foot is sore following his huge 199-yard game in Sunday’s win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Giants had already ruled out running back Ahmad Bradshaw (neck), wide receiver Domenik Hixon (concussion) and right tackle David Diehl (knee).
