Giants sign Peyton Hillis to two-year, $1.8 million deal

During a resurgent season, New York Giants running back Peyton Hillis rushed for 247 yards and two touchdowns on 73 carries in just seven games.

Now, the former Cleveland Browns 1,000-yard power back from Arkansas has decided to remain with the Giants.

Hillis been locked up by the Giants to a two-year, $1.8 million contract, according to a league source.

The deal includes base salaries of $870,000 and $730,000, annual $25,000 workout bonuses, a $100,000 roster bonus as well as a $50,000 roster bonus if he's on the roster on the fifth day of the league year.
