Even though the Giants finished the 2013 season 7-9, they expressed a desire to keep Tom Coughlin as their head coach.

On Friday, it became official.

Coughlin told reporters at the NFL combine that he agreed to a one-year extension that will take him through the 2015 season as the Giants' head coach.

In 10 years with the Giants, Coughlin has compiled a 90-70 record.
