Giants sign fullback Ryan D'Imperio

The New York Giants were unable to agree to a deal with Pro Bowl fullback Vonta Leach.

So, they added a different fullback: Ryan D'Imperio

The Giants are worried about the status of fullback Henry Hynoski, the starter who's sidelined indefinitely with a knee injury.

D'Imperio isn't in Leach's league as a former Kansas City Chiefs player who didn't play in any games last season and was cut in May, but it adds someone to the mix to block for running back David Wilson.

D'Imperio is a former Minnesota Vikings seventh-round draft pick.

The Giants cut kicker David Buehler, a former Dallas Cowboy who didn't play last season.
