Wide receiver Dexter Jackson worked out for the New York Giants today, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation.
A former Tampa Bay Buccaneers second-round draft pick, Jackson has worked out for several teams this season.
That includes the Cincinnati Bengals, Houston Texans and the Detroit Lions.
The Carolina Panthers cut Jackson before the start of the regular season.
The former Appalachian State standout has excellent speed. However, he has bounced around the NFL.
Jackson hasn't been given consistent opportunities to play wide receiver in the NFL, but has upside and athleticism.
