  • the Bears got 4 good ball players who are in the 30"s + classification. That says 3 younger players must go. Packers think young is better as they will grow. If the Bears dont win the superbowl this year i believe the old team getting older will fall apart. They have to many holes to win the superbowl so their actions of paying more money then they have will back fire. Compared to that sometimes silence is golden.
  • If you are going to let someone go, you need to bring someone of equal talent or better in. Clifton was probably the best LT unrestricted. There aren't many OTs out there that really jump out at you in FA. I don't think we would want a rookie starting LT with the likes of Allen and Peppers. There are some OTs that could be a solid fit for us in the draft. I don't know if one of them will fall to GB, there quite a few teams that need a premium tackle to block for the QBs blindside. While I doubt we will get the next Joe Thomas or Jake Long hopefully we can get someone who can start for the next...
  • Well, the good news - we know we'll need an O-line so probably no one will forget it this year. The less good news, where too fine one isn't getting any easier. Hard to believe a $$$ Chad Clifton is the answer, duck-tape will only go so far/long. Draft opportunities generally can't walk into 1st year OL successes. Plenty of projects left from last year, maybe they fit together better this year. I hope TT earns his kibble on this one, I'll bet A-Rod does too!
