Patriots players photographed at party following loss to Giants. Terry McCormick
It appears that a couple of New England Patriots players drowned their sorrows of losing in the Super Bowl on Sunday by partying shirtless in a photo that surfaced at Deadspin.com.
According to CBSBoston.com, the two Patriots players were at a party where the band LMFAO was playing, as two of Gronkowski's brothers tweeted from the event.
Tight end Rob Gronkowski and offensive tackle Matt Light were shown partying on stage without their shirts. At least Gronkowski, whose play was limited by a high ankle sprain that had his availability even in question, wasn't shown dancing.
Many Patriots players, including receiver Wes Welker, were visibly distraught in the wake of the 21-17 loss to the New York Giants.
But for a couple of guys at least, they found a way to take their mind off their problems. It will be interesting to see whether their teammates approve.
