Tight end still recuperating from fractured forearm. Terry McCormick
The New England Patriots will wait at least one more week before putting tight end Rob Gronkowski back in in the lineup, according to Shalise Manza Young of the Boston Globe.
Gronkowski returned to practice last week, but is still recovering from his broken forearm. If he is not ready, then it makes sense not to risk it against Jacksonville this week.
The Patriots, in a best-case scenario, would like to get Gronkowski a few reps next week in the regular-season finale in order to allow him to shake off the rust before the playoffs begin.
