New York Giants free agent wide receiver Hakeem Nicks has told NFL teams that he has recovering from foot and knee injuries and is medically sound for next season, according to ESPN.
Nicks' doctor, Robert Anderson, who did Jones' foot surgery in 2012, told teams in a letter that Nicks' ankle and foot issues from the past won't hamstring him going forward.
Per the report, a recent magnetic resonance imaging exam was peformed on Nicks.
And Dr. James Andrews endorsed Nicks, who had knee surgery in 2012, and said he's "completely healed."
Nicks is willing to accept a one-year contract from a new team, per the report.
