Check out the big grin on the face of Hakeem Nicks.

Yes, the New York Giants wide receiver has shown up for the team’s mandatory three-day minicamp today. Punter Steve Weatherford provided the evidence on Twitter with the picture of Nicks smiling while the moment was captured.

Quarterback Eli Manning had said he expected Nicks to be present when the Giants got going today and that is the case after Nicks chose not to volunteer for voluntary OTA’s. Maybe Nicks will shed some light on his absences today or maybe it will remain a mystery.

The bottom line is coach Tom Coughlin was unhappy Nicks was absent and now he’s around. With any luck the Giants can get some productive work in for their passing game.
