James Harrison is joining the Cincinnati Bengals, according to Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Harrison, a former NFL Defensive Player of the Year, joins the Bengals after being let go by the Pittsburgh Steelers when he and the club could not get together regarding a pay cut. There was speculation that Harrison would rejoin the Steelers shortly after his release, but the club closed the door on that option.
Harrison then met with the Bengals and appeared close to a deal last week before talks reportedly hit a snag. However, all that is now ironed out as Harrison prepares to begin the next phase of his NFL career playing for one of the Steelers' division rivals in the AFC North.
