Haslam says he 'absolutely will not' sell Browns

As pointed out in one fan's obituary, Cleveland Browns fans haven't had much to cheer about for the past few decades.

Even now, owner Jimmy Haslam is embroiled in an investigation of his Pilot/Flying J Oil Company. But ESPNCleveland says Haslam has no plans to sell the club that he purchased last year, despite a Wall Street Journal report that the company is some $4 billion in debt.

Haslam declined comment on the report, but when asked if he planned to sell the Browns like he did his minor league baseball club that plays in Sevierville, Tenn., Haslam replied, "Absolutely not. We plan on owning the Browns for a long time.”
