Receiver has been battling knee and quad injuries. Terry McCormick
Wide receiver Santonio Holmes, who suffered a quadriceps injury earlier this week, will be active for today's game for the New York Jets against the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to the NFL's official list and various reports.
Holmes also has had a knee problem.
Meanwhile, the Jaguars are not so fortunate in that starting receiver Jason HIll - he of the Darrell Revis is overhyped comment - will miss the game a hip injury.
