Running back could do some work on field next week. Terry McCormick
Trent Richardson appears to be healing relatively quickly from arthroscopic surgey on his knee, according to SportsTimeOhio, which caught up with the Cleveland Browns president.
According to the report, relayed by Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Holmgren says Richardson "should be back on the field doing something next week."
Chances are, given that knee scopes can take between two and four weeks to fully recover from, that means Richardson will begin running and making his cuts on the knee under the supervision of the team's training staff.
So it would appear there is still a chance that Richardson could in fact be back in time for the season opener.
