Giants TE is jacked up to get going Brad Biggs
September 5 can’t come too quickly for Martellus Bennett.
Heck, tomorrow wouldn’t be soon enough for the veteran tight end.
Because he’s got a little something extra for the Dallas Cowboys and that is who the New York Giants will host in the first game of the NFL season. Bennett was so excited for the start of training camp last night, he couldn’t sleep.
But he’s really ticked at the Cowboys, his former team.
“I just want to kick those guys’ asses,” Bennett said, according to Mark Hale of the New York Post. “That’s what it’s all about. We’re cool but we ain’t that cool,” Bennett said. “I’ve kind of got some ill feelings toward them overall. But it’s a game. Every game is the same where I kind of hate everybody, honestly, in the NFL.”
Everybody?
“I have ill feelings toward everybody. It’s not just Dallas,” Bennett said. “Pretty much anybody who doesn’t play with us, I pretty much, I don’t like ‘em. I don’t like a lot of people. I’m kind of (a jerk), but it’s cool.”
Opportunity is coming Bennett’s way. Soon.
