Oakland Raiders coach Hue Jackson has high hopes for wide receiver and kick returner Jacoby Ford heading into his second NFL season.
Ford caught 25 passes for 470 yards and two touchdowns last season, averaging 18.8 yards per reception. The former Clemson speedster also rushed for two touchdowns and a 15.5 average while also excelling as a dangerous return man.
Ford piled up 148 yards and returned a touchdown against the Kansas City Chiefs, also running back a kickoff against the Miami Dolphins.
An expanded role awaits Ford whenever football resumes.
"You better believe I do," Jackson said in an NFL Network interview. "Obviously, Jacoby is going to become a household name, because he has some very special ability. He's very good with the ball in his hands -- he's very good without the ball in his hands -- because he draws a lot of attention. He's just scratching the surface of what he truly can be."
