Former Raiders rejoins Marvin Lewis' staff in Cincinnati. Terry McCormick
Hue Jackson is returning to the Cincinnati Bengals organization to work for Marvin Lewis again.
The Bengals announced that Jackson, who was fired earlier this off-season by the Oakland Raiders after one year as head coach, would have the title of assistant coach in Cincinnati working mostly with defensive backs and on special teams. He had previously coached wide receivers when with the Bengals from 2004-06.
“Hue is a tremendous addition to our staff,” Lewis said. “I relied on Hue greatly when he was with us, and his success overall in the NFL, including being selected for a head coaching position, is well documented. He has expertise in all aspects of the game, and we are fortunate to have obtained his services.”
