Drew Brees’ wife Brittany is due to deliver the couple’s second child on Oct. 18, the day after the New Orleans Saints have a game in Tampa against the Buccaneers.

In an interview to be aired Sunday night on CBS’ “60 Minutes,” Brittany says she will stay quiet if she goes into labor during the game. She vows that she will not call Drew until after the game to give him the news.

I will “get the drugs and just pretend everything's fine,” Brittany told CBS.

The dad-to-be says he doesn’t have a problem with that. Hopefully, it won’t come to that and he will be able to be there for the arrival of what is expected to be their second boy. Fortunately, Tampa is one of the closest NFL cities to New Orleans and Brees will be able to get home quickly.
