Incognito made racial remarks, threats to Martin

Suspended Miami Dolphins offensive guard Richie Incognito made racially-charged comments and threats to teammate Jonathan Martin in voice mails and text messages, according to ESPN.

Incognito reportedly left the following message for Martin in April: "Hey, wassup, you half n----- piece of s---. I saw you on Twitter, you been training 10 weeks. [I want to] s--- in your f---ing mouth. [I'm going to] slap your f---ing mouth. [I'm going to] slap your real mother across the face [laughter]. F--- you, you're still a rookie. I'll kill you."

Per the report, the NFL and Dolphins have heard the message and have copies.

Incognito also allegedly made sexual orientation remarks in messages to Martin.

"We believe in maintaining a culture of respect for one another and as a result we believe this decision is in the best interest of the organization at this time," the Dolphins said in a statement. "As we noted earlier, we reached out to the NFL to conduct an objective and thorough review. We will continue to work with the league on this matter."
