Since 2000, the Washington Redskins have recorded just two winning seasons. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the organization has managed to notch only two playoff wins over the last 18 years.
Head coach Mike Shanahan will have his hands full this offseason as he looks to make some drastic improvements to a team that went 6-10 last year and finished dead last in the NFC East for the second season in a row.
Will Donovan McNabb return in 2011 as the Redskins’ starting quarterback? Will the team finally add some much needed firepower to an offense that scored only 18.9 points per game (25th in NFL) in 2010? What will be the key to improving a defense that ranked 31st in the NFL in yards allowed last season?
