QB has a home on South Beach; Dolphins won't comment. Terry McCormick
The NBC affiliate in Miami has footage of a private plane carry Peyton Manning landing at a South Florida airport.
However, it is not exactly clear if Manning's journey to the Miami area pertains to a visit with the Dolphins, who are reported to have serious interest in the quarterback who was released by Indianapolis Colts earlier in the day.
Manning has a home on South Beach, so it could be that he is simply be headed there for a little bit of rest and relaxation before the free agent visits begin.
Also, there was a report from the South Florida Sun-Sentinel that receiver Reggie Wayne could come to the Dolphins as part of a package deal with Manning. Of course, the Dolphins have already been left at the altar once this off-season by Jeff Fisher, so there is no reason to buy into the speculation just yet.
