There are still five bowl games left to play before we can officially put a bow on the 2011-2012 college football campaign, but that hasn’t stopped the Caesars Palace sportsbook in Las Vegas from getting an early jump on next season. Believe it or not, you can already place a bet on which team will win the 2013 BCS National Championship, as Caesars’ 2013 college football odds went live on Wednesday.

Les MilesICONWith one more game still to play, Les Miles' Tigers have already opened as the 2013 favorite.

And while they may be a 1-point underdog for Monday’s showdown with the Alabama Crimson Tide, the LSU Tigers have opened as the favorite at 7-2.

Not surprisingly, four of the top six teams reside in the Southeastern Conference, with LSU (7-2), Alabama (6-1), Arkansas (12-1) and Georgia (12-1) all opening lower than any team from the Big 12, Big Ten, ACC or Big East.

Quarterback Matt Barkley’s decision to return to Southern California for one more year has the Trojans listed at 6-1 while the Oregon Ducks’ Rose Bowl win over the Wisconsin Badgers has Chip Kelly’s squad at 8-1.
