JaMarcus Russell absent from workouts?

Bruce Gradkowski is in the house at the Oakland Raiders' voluntary offseason training program, so is Charlie Frye after signing his low restricted tender.

So, where's JaMarcus Russell?

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the former top overall pick isn't at the workouts.

Russell, whose conditioning has been a consistent issue since entering the league out of LSU, has been working out in Arizona.

A starting player laughed when asked if Russell is going to attend the workouts, adding, "That's a horror show."

Another starter told the Chronicle, "Don't hold your breath."

Ouch.

At this point, though, Russell hasn't earned a lot of respect.
