Former Raiders QB trying to take next step in comeback process. Terry McCormick
Former Oakland Raiders quarterback JaMarcus Russell, who became one of the NFL's most colossal busts with weight problems and other issues, is taking the next step on the comeback trail.
According to draft analyst Tony Pauline, Russell plans to hold his own "pro day" sometime around April 10 with Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald expected to catch passes from him.
If Russell, the top pick in the 2007 draft, impresses, perhaps Fitzgerald will take him to Arizona with him.
