Jadeveon Clowney cleared from concussion

Texans rookie Jadeveon Clowney may have let a secret out that team officials were hoping to keep in-house.

Speaking to reporters, via CBS Houston, Clowney said that he sustained a concussion during the preseason and was only recently cleared. Clowney didn't play in Houston's third preseason game. The injury

Clowney said it took him between a week and two weeks to get cleared.

Clowney, selected first overall in the NFL draft this past May, is expected to start against Washington this Sunday.
