Jags won't take Vick

Several television and print reports point out Jacksonville as a possible landing spot for former Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick, who recently received conditional reinstatement from the NFL.

So let's go ahead and slay this dragon right now for the message board folks and the dreamers - IT. AIN'T. HAPPENING.

In fact, Vick's name hasn't come up once during any of the club's personnel meetings, according to people inside the organization. Texting back and forth with Jaguars head coach Jack Del Rio yesterday, I asked if the club would be interested in Vick. Del Rio replied, "No."
