At long last, Justin Blackmon will join the Jacksonville Jaguars, agreeing to a contract on Monday, according to NFL.com.
The deal is fully guaranteed for Blackmon, the fifth overall pick in last April's draft. The major holdup had been how to structure the deal to protect the club after Blackmon had been arrested for a DUI in Oklahoma back in June.
Blackmon could be a nice shot in the arm for a Jaguars passing offense that has struggled in training camp. The club hopes to get him working with second-year quarterback Blaine Gabbert, who has been part of the struggles on offense for the Jags.
